LA looks ugly, amirite?

Surprisingly, Chicago is actually a very beautiful city. I was surprised when I moved there, and did an architectural tour.

LA is over 400 square miles. It had plenty of attractive areas and plenty of ugly areas. It's on par with most American cities.

La certainly isnt that attractive. Some hobo was smoking meth next to me on Venice beach. Its tacos are awesome though

Yeah, when I moved there a few years ago I was shocked by how hideous and unappealing it really was. Didn't expected it. The city is just overhyped

It's crazy because LA is spread out but the actual downtown is small and garbage. It's a massive city with some of the worst big city issues but without the few big city benefits. Chicago/Atlanta/Portland/Seattle all have much more going on.

Santa Monica definitely is, Beverly Hills is too, but yes mid city and a lot of the less affluent areas are hit or miss
