Obviously films resonate differently with people and that is to be expected, however I don't think you can say a film kinda sucked when you admitted you shed a tear at the end. I prefer the Green Mile over all the films you mention as I find it more relatable. This is because it deals with the cold and dark aspects of our true humanity, rather than a fantasy. There are no characters like Percy in the other films, but people like Percy exist.

I get what you mean but I disagree. Percy is flawless and actually has superpowers in the true world. The characters from the films I mentioned are flawed. This makes them hit closer to home than Percy. Which maked me care way less about Percy dying(although he was a wonderful human) than any of the other characters I mentioned. Percy in my opinion felt poorly approached and distant from the viewer.
