its not illegal aslong as your within 2 years of the person and the person is over the age of 14. once you turn 18 you can do whatever you want to anyone over the age of 18.

I'm almost positive that that's not illegal. Only having sex with them is. There is a legal age of consent (18), but I'm pretty sure that there's nothing against an 18 year old and a 17 year old dating.

The age of consent varies by state. In some states it is an age difference of two years. In some it's more. For PA, it is within four years of your partner until you're 18. Then it doesn't matter.

In California, the law is no younger than 16, no older than 21 with parental consent for the minor party as long as a sexual relationship isn't established. The law is different for almost every state though. Know your local legalities.

It depends on the state you're in. I know my state it's 4 years age difference, between the ages of 14 - 17. After 18, there is no age restriction, obviously.

My boyfriend is now 18, and I'm still 16 (the age of consent in my state) so we're legal. It seems silly for it to become a problem when one person turns 18, especially if the couple has been dating for a while.
