In Texas at least, many people say "How 'bout them Cowboys?" Guess it's a pretty universal way to change the subject though.

My dad's first pick-up line to my mom was "How 'bout those Cardinals?" Granted, she's from St. Louis, but she still blew him off. Lucky for me she came around.

HAHA I do this!! In track, when we had to do our laps our whatever, my friend would just randomly say, "How 'bout them Yankees?" She's a Mets fan, so it makes it even better. It's hilarious if you guys don't even watch sports.
