+217 Steven is often shortened to 'Steve' but you never find any Stephen's who shorten their name to 'Stephe', amirite?

I've heard of the occasional Stephen/Stefan that goes by Steph or Stef, but it seems to be really rare because that nickname is more often associated with a name like Stephanie.
