If pi is infinite, it will therefore at some point repeat. amirite?
by Anonymous3 years ago
No it won't. The 3 before the decimal point cannot be replicated on the other side of the decimal point

Do you mean there can only be one decimal point in a number?
by Anonymous3 years ago
in a number where the decimal is already established? Yes

Infinity can't exist within time, so the feeling that anything will happen eventually is misgiven. It doesn't have to do anything, because it only exists outside of cause and effect.

On an even baser level than that, the numbers are just a construct created by the human brain in an attempt to rationalize the chaos of the natural reality in which we find ourselves in. Outside of human thinking, Pi, and the concept of irrational numbers, doesn't exist. Only a brain can come up with something as meticulous as an irrational number that defies its own creation.

No. Pi is infinite and irrational meaning the numbers after the decimal will never end. Never repeat.
