No one has ever seen their own face. amirite?
by Anonymous2 years ago
Sure no one's eye popped out and still attached? Some crazy MF must have tried this and tried to see them self.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Unfortunately our eye doesn't have a long cord or something behind it connecting it to our brain, if did this would be possible.
by Anonymous2 years ago
FAlse, a mirror does not show you anything bakwards, it just shows you exactly what is being shown towards it
by Anonymous2 years ago
Which is backwards from your own perspective, but that still doesn't eliminate photography
by Anonymous2 years ago
Photography is an image of a thing, not the actual thing. So a photo of your face is just an image of your face, not your actual face.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Two mirrors at an angle? Photographs?
by Anonymous2 years ago
Came to see if anyone had said this. You can get 2 angled mirrors so that you look at your reflection, but it's the right way around. I've seen one at an optical illusion museum.
by Anonymous2 years ago
There are medicine cabinets that have this, three mirrors side by side, and the two in the outside can angle towards you to create this effect.
by Anonymous2 years ago
What about someone who cuts off all the skin from their face and looks at it? I'm 100% certain that at least 1 person in history has done this before.
by Anonymous2 years ago
This seems like something Dwight Schrute would do
by Anonymous2 years ago
Face/off, good movie.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Still your hair, eyes, and the shape of your face weren't seen
by Anonymous2 years ago
*laughs in Joker*
by Anonymous2 years ago
Yikes.
by Anonymous2 years ago
I never am not seeing my nose while my eyes are open.
by Anonymous2 years ago
That's true, but that's only a small part of your face.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Just put the lotion in the basket.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Hahaha
by Anonymous2 years ago
Pictures exist.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Still not your actual face.
by Anonymous2 years ago
You've never seen your actual back either. There are actually lots of pieces of yourself that you haven't directly seen.
by Anonymous2 years ago
I haven't seen my kidneys.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Therefor they don't exist /s
by Anonymous2 years ago
Everything we see is just a reflection of some light source
by Anonymous2 years ago
Nice! That's a good point.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Yes it is… explain how it's not?
by Anonymous2 years ago
Only there reflection.
by Anonymous2 years ago
That's what I said lol
by Anonymous2 years ago
No you said no one's ever seen their face
by Anonymous2 years ago
Where reflection?
by Anonymous2 years ago
The
by Anonymous2 years ago
I think you mean no one has seen their actual face
by Anonymous2 years ago
Semantics, but sure, we'll go with that.
by Anonymous2 years ago
If you're seeing a reflection of your face, does that mean your features are flipped in the mirror and thus you to yourself probably interpret your own face as being more or less symmetrical than it is?
by Anonymous2 years ago
Try OBE.
by Anonymous2 years ago
What's that?
by Anonymous2 years ago
I think out of body experience
by Anonymous2 years ago
Correcto mundo.
by Anonymous2 years ago
I had to look it up
by Anonymous2 years ago
inhale*
camera
by Anonymous2 years ago
You can flip your selfies horizontally and see how you look like to others
by Anonymous2 years ago
You've never heard your own voice.
by Anonymous2 years ago
ive seen a mirror which tends to be a pretty good estimate
by Anonymous2 years ago
If that's the logic we are going with, then no one has ever seen most objects. Most objects do not give off light on their own, they are just visible to us because the light that has reflected off of them....no different than seeing the light reflected off the mirror to see your face.
by Anonymous2 years ago
I'm seeing the light reflected off the image of my face, not light reflected off my actual face.
by Anonymous2 years ago
OP you aren't to bright are you? Take a picture of yourself and then look at it. Now you see yourself. Also just because a reflection is reversed doesn't mean you didn't see yourself… you must be high af
by Anonymous2 years ago
Mirrors don't reflect stuff backwards
by Anonymous2 years ago
So you're saying there's a chance i may not be ugly?
by Anonymous2 years ago
There is NO chance you're ugly!
by Anonymous2 years ago
Do identical twins count?
by Anonymous2 years ago
That's a fair question
by Anonymous2 years ago
What about a mirrorless SLR (camera) does that in some way invert the image?
Of course you could just line two mirrors up...
by Anonymous2 years ago
Fair question. But it's still just an image of your face, not your actual face.
by Anonymous2 years ago
I've seen a reflection of my reflection, so the image wasn't backwards.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Still just an image of your face, not your actual face
by Anonymous2 years ago
Well, it sure wasn't someone else's face.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Behold.
"Mirror"
by Anonymous2 years ago
Hence, why I said "reflections"
by Anonymous2 years ago
Cameras can show image without reflection, and if you have 2 mirrors in a 90° corner an image on the centre will appear without the reflection. I know that because I have one of those mirrors at home 😅
