People at the Paris fashion show don't wear suits for a reason. Suits are about professionalism and conformity. Letting everyone know you're serious and you're on the same team.

Yeah, but that's part of what defines what formal wear is: non-stylish, uni-_form_ design meant to convey a conformity -- the opposite of what is meant by stylish. This is less an opinion and more lack of vocabulary.
