It sucks to be poor because everything costs money. Maybe if society was different being poor wouldn't be a big deal

How anyone could be poor and happy is beyond me. Literally everything that makes me happy costs money. Having money is always better than not having it.

I don't care if people are happy being poor. I care when they try to have the government take even more of my money because they are poor.

It sounds like while you're not financially wealthy, you have other forms of "wealth" contributing to your happiness. Meanwhile, some people have money and aren't happy. But some have it and are. And some don't have it and aren't. So yeah, money doesn't have much to do with it.

But in such a wealthy country something is wrong. Either u don't know where to seek help properly or you are actually squandering your wealth. Maybe not you, but someone in your family must have messed up.
