-21 Stacking/deflecting in UNO should apply to Skip Cards too. amirite?

From unorules.com: Skip – When a player places this card, the next player has to skip their turn. It can only be played on a card that matches by color, or on another Skip card. If turned up at the beginning of play, the first player (to the dealer's left) loses his/her turn. The next player to that player's right starts the game instead. Draw Two – When a person places this card, the next player will have to pick up two cards and forfeit his/her turn. It can only be played on a card that matches by color, or on another Draw Two. If turned up at the beginning of play, the first player draws two cards and gets skipped. No compounding of +2. No avoiding picking up 2. No playing cards after picking up 2. If you are skipped, the next person can then play a skip card on the previously placed one, not you. You miss your turn to do anything if you are skipped.

And that's all good if the house rules are agreed upon beforehand, however you still misunderstood the concept of the skip card. If the player before you plays a skip, play goes to the person after you. You do not get a chance to play any card, even another skip card.

I know what a skip card does. However you still misunderstand the concept of what stacking is. You can avoid the punishment card put onto you by playing one of the same of your own. My argument is against the people who are well aware and for the stacking of +2/+4 cards but (which also skip your turn in UNO) are against the stacking of skips.

+2/+4 cards don't skip your action, they force the player to pick up instead of lay down. The player still takes an action. How are you supposed to stack a skip card when you aren't able to play a card because you got skipped?

Plus cards do skip your turn first of all, or at least in the official rules/ in rules of every different group of people I've played UNO with. "How are you supposed to stack a skip card when you aren't able to play", because stacking deflects the punishment of being skipped.

It does

So how would you compound a skip?

Someone hits you with a skip. You have one of your own, you play it and it skips two people down the line.

so in theory you could contribute to a chain that ultimately skips yourself.

If everyone in the game also has a skip in their hand which is unlikely. The same applies to +2/+4 in stacking which again is unlikely.

If youa have a +2 and the next guy(B) has a +2, and the guy after that(C) has a +2 the last guyd draws 6. If you have a skip, B has a skip, C has a skip, then D, A(You) and B all get skipped.
