I heard once that Miley Cyrus went nuts in a strategic attempt to get out of some heavipy ironclad contracts with Disney by attempting to make them be the ones to call off the contract. I wonder if we are seeing something similar.

Jojo is more high on her own supply than off the rocker. When you look at her work, it looks like a child's bad macaroni art, well meaning, lots of effort but ultimately just all over the place and tonedeaf to what people would actually enjoy. Also, if she was trying to get out of a contract, she shouldn't have released a song with 30 times more views than her next most popular one. People like watching a shipwreck and as long as she thinks her late stage teenage rebellion / quarter life crisis is the work of some kind of music pioneer we'll gladly watch along no matter how much of a cognitive hazzard everything she does actually is.

I feel like this is an opinion a lot of people have, after all most ppl who know who she is think she's kind of been thrust into fame since Dance Moms and never rlly had a chance to explore herself thoroughly. This makes her perception of maturity and sexual themes childish and lacking in awareness, so she resorts to using music as her outlet but doesn't know how to express herself

My mom almost exclusively watches reality shows, and whenever I visit her I'm kinda okay to sit through the likes of Below Deck and Love Island, but Dance Moms....christ, that's hard work.
