Is it logical to always think and act logically? I don't think so,but what do you think? amirite?

Sometimes, being logical is like trying to use a GPS in the middle of a road trip—great in theory but sometimes you just gotta enjoy the detours.

sometimes the logical thing is to follow/enjoy the detours. i think there is a misconception between logic and optimisation.

Probably not always. But my brain tends to ignore this feeling

Being an adult means putting your emotions in check when you make decisions. You should never make life decisions when your emotions have the c better of you.

Yes you should always strive to think and act logically. And if your definition of "logical" has some parameters where emotions and pleasure don't exist, then you're not being logical - you're being naive. It is not hard at all to be logical about emotions and pleasure. Saying "I should always be productive" isn't logical because it ignores basic human needs such as love, community, relaxation, mental well being, etc. That would be as illogical as making a week of plans without including time for eating - it's a basic human need. You'd be trying to make an experiment without including all of the relevant variables. You should logically think through your emotions and mental needs and plan accordingly. Trying to separate logic and these types of things will only lead to a mess, regardless of which side you try to take.
