-50 Fudge is Gross, amirite?

by Fluid-Landscape1404 4 months ago

It SEEMS you have had bad fudge. I've never had dry chalky peanut butter fudge.

Dry and chalky? You sure what you had was fudge? Anyway, yea ok sure fine you don't like it.

Dry? Chalky? What kind of grocery store past-due fudge have you been eating?

by Neither_Hold_7496 4 months ago

💯 I hate the stuff.

Same

It's insanely sweet. And yeah dry and chalky. The good ones are slightly moist

by Anonymous 4 months ago

If it's dry and chalky, it's bad fudge. But, yeah, I'm not a fan either. I find it more bearable if it has something in it to lessen the sweetness and give it some texture (e.g. nuts).

You haven't packed it properly.

I really enjoyed that one, thanks for being you!

Bad fudge tastes like that. Really good fudge is soft and moist enough that it tastes divine. Order yourself some fudge from Mackinac Island. It's supposed to be some of the best fudge out there. I'm actually trying to decide between 5 fudge shops on there now. I want a batch for the holidays but there are so many choices and they all look so good and have such good reviews I can't decide! :P

Did you eat the fudge that's made around the corner from the milk and lemonade?

by casimirkunze 4 months ago

You describe fudge that is too old and wasn't made properly. If you go to a place that is known for fudge, they usually will have a dark chocolate version which is less sweet and will melt in your mouth it's so soft.

by Schneidercordie 4 months ago

It's fine if you don't like it but the few people that are saying it's dry and chalky have not been eating fudge. I no way shape or form is fudge dry and chalky. It is ridiculously sweet though so you probably wouldn't like it even if it was made properly.

by SharpAtmosphere 4 months ago

Dry and chalky are two things fudge should never be.

by Anonymous 4 months ago

I don't think you had Fudge. Maybe you made a mistake?

by mohresther 4 months ago

It is very sweet l, not chalky if it's good fudge.

I know he didn't have a good time last year on C9 but I wouldn't call him gross /s

by Anonymous 4 months ago

I can understand this. I'm not a huge fan of it, either. Other desserts are much more appealing, in my humble opinion

by Anonymous 4 months ago

I quite like it. I'm a big fan of anything chocolate

by Anonymous 4 months ago

Fudge is so nasty, made me nauseous whenever I've had it

by Original-Border-2465 4 months ago

I make it with super dark chocolate and cook it at a lower temperature. It's a bit bitter sweet and melts in your mouth.

by Ill-Law 4 months ago

It's like melt in your mouth delicious

by Anonymous 4 months ago

My daughter is a professional pastry chef. You would change your opinion if you had her fudge.

by Anonymous 4 months ago

I love the stuff, but it is a bit too dense as far as calories go. Given the choice between something delicious that I can eat a tiny bit of, and something just pretty pretty good that I can eat an actually satisfying portion of, I'd pick the latter any day of the week.

what fudge is dry..

by ChemicalAd7183 4 months ago

You've described the exact opposite of fudge

by khalidankunding 4 months ago

I have never had dry fudge so I have no idea what you're referring to, I just don't like fudge in general. One tiny piece is good but I can't consume more than that unless I have milk accessible to chug between every piece

by tatum20 4 months ago

I hate it too. And I love desserts

by Anonymous 4 months ago

Chalky? Wtf are you eating? 😂

by Anonymous 4 months ago

It's good if you don't know the health consequences lol
