Personally I think individualism is a myth, or a lie we tell ourselves to pretend that we as individuals can truly do anything. But realistically you can't do anything as an individual, even something as simple as walking down the sidewalk can only be done due to every working together.

You seem to be talking about effecting positive change only. Not negative change. Because every successful assassin in history would disagree with the idea that a single dedicated person with a vision can't effect meaningful change.
