OP was frozen June 2020 and just got thawed out in 2024

Op was sick today and wore a mask to work and remembered how it made it a little harder to breathe.

Mhmm, sure. Thats exactly what a time traveler trying to avoid a paradox would say.

I think a lot of people would agree with you on that opinion. I'm still thankful that my oral hygienist still wears hers and never complains about it. I would hate to be that close and have her smell my breath.

Well, it does make it harder to breathe, no one disagree with that. But it doesn't make it so that your body doesn't get enough oxygen. You oxygen saturation stays the same. So you might feel like it's harder to breathe, but your breathing stays as efficient as it was.

I think one of the major problems in 2020 was that people were disagreeing with that. Some people took the extremist "I can't breath" position and major weight was put behind the extremist "masks don't effect your breathing at all" position.

I have no data backing this but it sure felt like I was getting less oxygen while running on the treadmill with a mask. I literally couldn't do it without sneaking some free breaths and eventually just canceled my gym membership and ran outside lol.
