for the best results, you need a core i7-12700K at the very least, with 32 GB of RAM, a 3060 or higher GPU, and usually they hangout in discord, thank me later

Yeah - we know. Obviously. Is anyone under the assumption that emulating isn't often related to piracy?

The games I "pirate" are SNES games. I have a bunch of the physical copies of some I've bought cheaply or are from my childhood, but there are games now because of the weird retro resale community that are insane expensive. I'm not buying a Chrono Trigger for $200+ dollars. One of favorite games of all time though and I got to play it due to emulation.

Do you have this same opinion on people who pirate movies that are still in theaters?

me looking at Bloodborne

Are emulators good enough for that yet? I played Demon Souls on an emulator a few years back when I was in my big FromSoftware phase, at that time it seemed ps4 emulation wasn't yet good enough to run Bloodborne.

If McDonald's didn't trademark the Big Mac, I would be able to get one at Burger King. I want Burger King to make me a McDonald's Big Mac.

My unpopular opinion is that current gen emulator builders and people who use them and complain when the projects get taken down can suck it. The users of the emulators were never going to pay money for the games so nothing they say matters.

I guess I'm in the unpopular opinion here too. Old systems that no longer have support? Sure why not. But my god just go to Walmart and buy a system, or look on Facebook marketplace for a used one.

Well, the current gen consoles are basically PC on their own OS

As someone who has pirated 2-3k worth of media, this is dumb. Don't try to justify your stinginess with some dumb moral argument about "CoRpOrAtIoNs". We all know you and I are doing this because we can't, or won't cough up the money to pay for the game legit, and this is completely illegal, with no moral justifications whatsoever.
