I agree I've always found sugary breakfast to be gross and make me feel bad the rest of the day, I do like bacon and eggs though

Once you're an adult you can eat whatever you want. I don't eat breakfasts at all.

Iām an adult but I don't have the same options. Try to get a hearty meal outside of your home in the morning time. Most restaurants or shops are closed. A big muffin with coffee? No thanks.

Look for breakfast restaurants in your area. There's a reason most restaurants or shops are closed at the time. It's because there isn't a lot of people looking to sit at a restaurant or shop at that time.

You can make breakfast yourself.

you do you then. no forces you to eat whatever. all this culture that grew over hundreds of years. there is no right or wrong just different preferences. also you really only list led some stereotypical food. what makes you think western breakfast can't be hearty or warm. Just have a look at British breakfast (sausages, beans, fried egg, hot bacon) for example or American porridge which also does not have to be sweet. I don't know if you intend to sound ignorant but that how you come off atm. I am european but I prefer Chinese styled breakfast.

You eat a doner kebab for breakfast? That would send me right back to sleep. I think most people just don't wake up that hungry, and also don't have the time or energy to prepare big meals. Of course the West relies on convenience foods or simple, easy meals like cereal but that's also because we don't have someone who has to wake up early and cook for the whole family (a role inevitably and IMO unfairly pushed into women)

I just don't get why cereals, oat meals, milk, eggs and bacon, croissants or whatever is typical in your region, are predominantly eaten in the morning. boy you just awnsered your own question in this sentence š

I like to start a day with a couple of pieces of French Toast and a few strips of crispy bacon.
