What do they do with our data after they've bought it ? And who they selling it to

They sell to anyone who wants to pay. The chief reason is marketing, but online data has been used for everything from outing gay priests to targeting political misinformation.

Gotta say the folders stress me out lol. It's like shoving stuff under the bed—yeah it makes the room look better, but you know it's all still lurking there

Fair enough. I'm pretty sure your phone's operating system will automatically disable permissions and whatnot for apps you haven't used in a certain amount of time though. You can at least rest easy knowing that they're not creeping up at you from under the bed... probably.

Agreed. I also hate the "apps" don't have nearly the user-friendliness of a good web browser. Usually, I want to adjust the font size, etc., to my liking, and that's usually not really possible or at least a lot more limited than if I were to do on a website in a browser.

I don't have room on my crappy little POS Motorola phone. You need me to download an app to use that service? I guess I'm not using that service then. Thankfully, there are still ways around it.
