Some people might read this as "I want to drive like a jerk without consequences". Some amount of "natural consequences" are needed to maintain order. Police can't be everywhere. Probably not needed in highly ethical, super self-conscious, rule compliant cultures, but those are rare today. Japan and a few others perhaps.

I don't think OP means just "rage" I think they mean legit raging on the road like driving in revenge. Like those dash cam complications of people tryna brake check each other cos they perceived someone intentionally trying to cut them off or something. And yea, anyone using their car to express their emotions needs a doctor imo too

I think that the isolation of driving a car makes otherwise normal people react in rage when driving.

I agree 100%. Like bro, it's not that serious… especially the people who try to get out of their cars and start fights with people over mundane reasons, and try to run people off the road, etc. Somethings gotta be wrong mentally if you actually are angry enough to want to hurt and potentially kill people while driving.
