-21 Running socks are snake oil, amirite?

The cheapest socks are most often the thinnest socks. Which give you the most contact with the actual shoe. More expensive socks give cushioning and tightness in different places. Cushioning the actual shoe provides. If you need expensive socks to run in your shoes, get other shoes. Having shaped socks is important, but they can be cheap.

I don't have an issue with the shoes: I have an issue with the cheap socks wearing out, bunching up, or slipping down. I don't have the money to try 5 different pairs or $100 shoes when the solution can be a $20 investment in good socks.
