Dogs and cats (and almost all animals) probably do not determine dreams as unreal versus waking experiences. They may wake up wondering what happened to the bunny I was just chasing. amirite?

Do dogs an cats even have dreams? Do other beings have dreams? I do not know.

It is believed they do. They certainly have REM episodes while they sleep.
