The job title "Influencer" needs to be traded for "Persuader", amirite?

Those 2 words are synonyms according to a thesaurus.

A distinction without a difference.

Why? The distinction you made didn't really illustrate why Influencer isn't correct, or why Persuader is.

Influenzas love rusty stuff, dusty stuff, and cobweb-y corners.

Influence means - "the capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behavior of someone or something, or the effect itself." They influence the behavior of people.

I think influencer works because you aren't "persuading" everyone into something. If anything, you're turning a LOT of people away from that service/product. People who hate advertisements at all, people who hate that creator, etc. Influence comes with a broader scope and a less severe definition.
