+44 War veterans deserve healthcare (because everyone does) but they're not brave or noble for having gone to war. amirite?

Unpopular but I'm going to agree. The United States hasn't fought a "noble" war in a very very long time. I served myself and I am utterly ashamed I ever put that uniform on. I loved the people I served with but was disgusted with what the US military represents globally.

No it is a noble act to sacrifice your own safety for the well-being of your people.

That bit about whether a war is a noble war is kind of irrelevant. The army doesn't declare war - govts do. The act of joining the military and as such signing away your safety in the name of defending your countrymen and your way of life is a noble act. It doesn't matter what the pentagon starts a war over, the people willing to die to protect others are inherently committing a noble act.

This implies that war is done for the well-being of people lol

Yes, but not all wars are inherently for the well being of our people. Being a soldier in itself isn't inherently noble. It's not inherently evil either, it's a job. An important job even. But I don't think it's something that should be overly glorified. I don't think we've fought an unambiguously "noble" war since WW2.

It absolutely is brave but it's not noble. Killing people at the behest of governments is beyond stupid.

So, um, how did that go?

You're entitled to you opinion even if it is hurtful and uneducated.
