It's about contempt. Saying "all men are trash" is contempt. Buying and drinking out of a "male tears" mug is contempt. Contempt is when relationships really fall apart. It has become okay to treat men with contempt generally. Online and offline.

Who's saying this to their kids? I'm a parent and I've never heard of this being a real thing. Teach your daughters how to stay safe and understand the warning signs sure, I mean that can go for any gender of child. Strange adults in general are not safe for children to be around. This feels like a lot of finger wagging in the wrong direction.

I agree but like my opinion stands, I'm not saying all men are trash by many means I'm just appalled people would teach their kids that then get surprised when someone tweets men are trash

Every day thousands of women say yes to dates and thousands agree to be in committed relationships. Your premise that the only reason a woman would not be interested in a particular man is because they've been conditioned to avoid all men is flawed. If you are having trouble getting that interest, you need to do some self reflection.

Contrary to all the responses, I have grown up with a dad who taught me that. Made me wary of all men because he was scared I'd have sex before marriage, I developed kind of a misandrist mentality as a teen for a while, and my dad did not like that either, although he was the one telling me men were dangerous and shallow and only wanted one thing from me..
