I think a lot of their fame comes from social media, their decorative skills, and their unique business idea. I don't know anyone that genuinely LOVES them. Most people are like "yeah they're okay." People on social media, including big celebs like kylie jenner, review the cookies and, of course, rave about them. It's just like any other food on social media that goes viral, and then you try it and wonder what all the hype was about. Then, most of the cookies are genuinely very pretty. Combine this with their unique idea of rotating cookies, and people see more pretty things they wanna buy. It doesn't help that there are very few competitors to crumble, either.

I'm getting one in my city and I really want to try. I love soft, and too sweet cookies

I remember one week when they had a giant cookies and cream Rice Krispies treat. That thing was HEAVY, as in very, very filling. I was full after only eating half. Definitely couldn't finish it in one sitting.

Well obviously this isn't an unpopular opinion because they are still very successful. Silly.
