Wow what a horribly depressing life you choose to live. I make about 500k working about 30-35hrs per week writing code. If you're satisfied with your life and judging people within the boundaries of your head, do you. That's super depressing though.

they write code. they got there by writing bad code, then writing successfully better code. also reviewing others' code.

Ha…helpful. My husband's an excellent programmer earning six digits but not that high. He's interested in people's personal experience with different high level opportunities in the field, as am I. I'm curious if they're in the corporate world or government or finance or other industry. So I tried to inquire politely if they'd be open to sharing their own experience.
