+36 Being a lightweight is actually great, amirite?

I get sick from alcohol really easily and I hate that. If I have one kinda strong sweet drink I'll throw up, and if I drink lightly multiple days in a row I'll start to feel really bad. In the end it's good for my health that it forces me to drink less, but I kinda hate that I've never been able to have that experience of getting crazy drunk (With friends, somewhere safe).

Being a lightweight is basically a superpower – less booze, more buzz, and your wallet stays happy. Win-win!

especially if you live in an expensive city! forever grateful i don't need several pints/mixed drinks to get buzzed

We think it's a bad thing bc some light-weights end up drinking wayyyy too much when they've had a few out of peer pressure ig and then we gotta take them home

I really do wish I could get a nice buzz on a couple drinks. I envy you. Your bar tab (and liquor expense) must pale in comparison to mine. You'll be the one who retires with a nice condo on the beach while I'm sipping whiskey on my front porch in Indiana…oh wait, that's a bad thing. Most of that was in jest. I really do envy the people who call it quits after one or two drinks.

Sure, if your goal is just to be drunk as quickly as possible. When I drink, I usually intend to linger a while and enjoy several drinks.

That's not what being a lightweight means lol It means getting drunk off of a small amount of alcohol. Weight can be a factor there, but it's not the only factor.

I don't think anyone would argue with that…

I'm way way happier fat than I ever was when I was skinny.
