Being confident is not an exclusively attractive feature in women, amirite?

Not unpopular.

Confidence is a relative term which often gets confused with self-efficacy. Confidence is relative to a specific skill. For example, someone may have confidence in their ability to play piano, but not in their ability to play tennis. Someone might have confidence in their social skills (socialising is a skill), but not in their ability to fix a car. Confidence is a byproduct of competence… or delusion. Self-efficacy is the belief that you are able to do something, that you are competent and that you are proactive in solving problems. What I'm assuming you mean is that you don't find women who're boisterous and act like they enjoy being the centre of attention at large social gatherings attractive and that find women who act more reserved to be more attractive. I think most men would agree with this.

Not a single unpopular word in there, also most people aren't talking about a woman being cocky. They're talking about one being reasonably confident.

Are they confident in who they are? Their introversion? The relationship? Is the opposite of confident anxious? What do you mean by confidence? Assertiveness?
