Sorry to inform you that you entered the adult life through the wrong door.

Hi! I love that you have it good and enjoy yourself. For what I gather from other's and my own experience, finding a job nowadays is hard (if we exclude retail, waitressing, ect.). And even if you find a job you like, it's not well paid. Obviously, you had some luck in that department, and I'm happy for you, but not everybody experiences life the same way.

Good for you. I am the same age, have student loans and still years away from graduating and getting a job. Quite immature to state that you don't understand how people struggle, especially financially at this age. You have clearly been luckier than most so it is easy for you.

Here's the scoop: you haven't had your first real struggle yet. I hope you're able to keep your optimism when your world is falling apart around you. Good luck to your future endeavors! Be humble. Merry christmas

Ohhh boy. I am glad that life is going good for you, at the same time being 23 is still VERY early in your adult life. Here's some unsolicited words of wisdom for you - Live comes and goes in waves. Right now your riding a wave that's coming up, everyone loves those times, but rest assured, you always have to be prepared for a come down from it. Whether it be losing a job at random, financial struggle, health problem, a death. It could be anything. Just be prepared, but still always enjoy the good times. Life uh….finds a way.

OP when he and his amazing girlfriend doesn't like him anymore: "why is life so hard and evil?"? Be thankful for the ups, but if you haven't hit any downs you're gonna see something lol.

I feel very much the same, but am also in a very similar position to you, but surely you are empathetic enough to appreciate that a lot of people in their early twenties are missing one or all of these pieces - the stable, well-paid work, the partner they desire, the independence from their parents, the work-life balance to maintain wellbeing in other areas? It's odd to acknowledge the blessings that are making your life at this time so enjoyable without recognising that they're not exactly universals for people in their 20s.

TL;DR Being 23 is good if you make 65k a year, have a girlfriend, no financial problems, have time to workout 7 days a week and still have free time.
