I agree with this. I would also say that Australian humour is better than British humour if not on the same level. Hollywood can be real cringe sometimes. I've never found Friends or Big Bang Theory funny at all.

I feel like most British/Commonwealth humor is about demonstrating how clever you are. American humor is about eliciting a laugh. So I prefer the latter.
