The neon red / blue Nintendo Switch is ugly af, amirite?

If you type Nintendo Switch on Google and look at images, it actually takes a while before you find an image of the grey one. The neon red / blue one seems to be what everyone thinks of when they think of the Switch.

I mean, is it just the minimalism that you like? For me, I think the big, bright colors were a cool-looking design choice because it caught your eye and gave it color, whereas the gray was among the same basic colors that every other console had. I agree with the Switch 2, though. I think the color highlights on the controller looks pretty slick lmao

I think the grey joycons (and the Switch 2) look boring and generic. The console doesn't really have enough going on visually that it's going to look good in a stripped-back colorway like that, it just makes it look weirdly unfinished. The grey Switch Lite I like a bit better because that at least has the contrast with the light buttons.

I hadn't heard of millenial grey, just millennial white. Though I guess millennial white is more an interior design thing than electronics design. For the record, I am a millennial, and I hate millennial white.
