+58 Boredom will be how humanity goes extinct, amirite?

Nah. I've worked on many projects that have been "done" already, but doing it myself and adding my own ideas made it not boring.

100 years of solitude but in a mass scale. Buendia's curse will haunt all of us.

But how will that kill us? You don't just die of boredom. Boredom might be a reason for world leaders to start wars or whatever, but then it'll be the nuclear explosions/winter that kills us in the end. Civilization is 100% going to collapse because of nuclear war or global warming leading to food and water shortages which will then lead to war again. It all comes back to war.

Solid counterpoint. Regardless of your take on the overall concept, would "Boredom will be the root cause of humans going extinct" work any better?

You're literally contradicting yourself here. You're saying all hobbies and distractions would be "been here done that" but also saying it will be restricted to the .00001%. So are you saying only the super wealthy will get bored and go extinct?

You're saying that the elite will exhaust every possible temperament whereas the 99.99999% will be gatekept from it, but somehow they will process through the boredom all the same despite the tremendous gap in access to these temperaments. This doesn't make much sense.

This doesn't take away from the fact that nuclear war will happen, perhaps sooner than later. At least 3 billion people will either die or suffer from the consequences.

And how do YOU know nuclear war will happen? Why does every smartass in the internet predict nukes these days smh

He read it on Epoch times, Qanon said it so it must be true. These Qanons have no brain.
