-31 coming for someone's looks/body shaming and saying "it's okay cuz they're a terrible person" is the same logic as using the n word and saying "well they're a bad person so it's fine", amirite?

lol most people will display a lot of cognitive dissonance to try to tell you that your take is wrong. Body shaming is the most accepted form of bigotry and people don't have the foresight to see that type of thinking leads to other forms of bigotry being accepted. People will say that clothing brands don't have to make clothing for fat people, and no one will bat an eye. But I promise you is you say that beauty brands don't need to make products for minorities they'll look at you crazy. Better yet, a business has the right to refuse service to minorities all of a sudden they get it. Your best bet is to cut anybody you know personally who does it, and not to engage in that discourse because there's no rationalizing with THOSE people.

one is a form of harassment directed at the person. the other is a word that affects an entire group of people. this isn't an unpopular opinion, this is just an unbelievably obvious logical fallacy.
