Seriously, I just had a guy tell me he drives his car up the sidewalk to the porch and lets the heat of the car melt the snow. So you do have options!

That melted snow would turn into an ice rink. If you use enough energy to evaporate the water I think the efficiency would go out the window. That being said, if the snow is light enough you can absolutely use a leaf blower to clear your driveway.
