+49 Buldak Ramen noodles are completely overhyped. I'm convinced people pushing them online are paid, amirite?

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Totally agree, there are much better brands for the price.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Thank you, at least I know I'm not the only one

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Please tell. I've been looking for alternatives because I'm not very keen on artificial flavors but everything I've tried is thoroughly mediocre.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

I like the Shin Black but there are others. Go to your local Asian market and buy the package that you can't read anything on except the English sticker telling you what it is 😂

by Anonymous 1 day ago

They are not good but it is unique. That kind of uniqueness would make you think about it once in a while. Or maybe you will buy it from time to time. And that's the point. If you can't find anything similar, people would buy it, so many other brands copy it and failed to copy the exact unique flavor.

Buldak Carbonara are good, but at the end of the day they are just instant noodles. Don't expect more

by Wolfrozella 1 day ago

Inodomie Goreng is godly

by lorenzo83 1 day ago

Clears Buldak by a HUGE margin

by krystinazieme 1 day ago

I eat them every other day. I usually get the spiciest ones. I like to add crispy pork belly to them with eggs and chopped green onions.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Most people buying cup noodles aren't looking for crazy "depth". They're pretty good and got nice spice.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

I definitely won't go there. If you say they aren't good people just assume for some reason you don't like spice and that's not the case... they just don't have much flavour 🥲

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Never had them, I pretty much only eat shin black when I want instant ramen.

by Susannagoldner 23 hours ago

I've heard about these, I'm going to pick up a pack when I can get to an Asian supermarket

by Anonymous 23 hours ago

Buldak is ass....10000% however I know they are popular when my small town Texas Walmart has them. Also got shin ramen, which is a better dry noodle when it's not even trying to be.

by Big-Still 23 hours ago

Never had them and aren't familiar but yes, influencers are paid. They are commercials, not actual recommendations

by Bettyethiel 22 hours ago

The rosé flavor is my favorite instant ramen I've ever had. Since Buldak in general is a "dry" ramen, though, I'm not surprised when people don't like it.

by Working_Educator 22 hours ago

They are stupidly spicy for no reason. Nongshim never disappoints.

by Anonymous 22 hours ago

Heard of these, definitely will pick up a pack when I find them

by Anonymous 22 hours ago

Nongshim Tonkotsu is my fav

by Anonymous 22 hours ago

Idk, the pink package, the yellow one and the black ones are good af.

by Anonymous 21 hours ago

I do agree they aren't phenomenal but I do like certain flavors.

by Sorry-Dependent1196 21 hours ago

Mama green curry ramen is the best packaged ramen. I'll die fighting on this hill. It's got spice and flavor.

by Anonymous 21 hours ago

I personally much prefer palďo spicy soy over Bulbak

by Anonymous 20 hours ago

Shin Black is much better at that price point, just add some spice to it cause there's virtually no heat.

by Anonymous 20 hours ago

Lol they aren't that good, but are still pretty good. They have some good kick to them, better than a lot of others, and the noodle and sauce quality is far superior to Mr. noodles lol

by Anonymous 19 hours ago

Oh by no means would I call them "good" food. However when I want to burn one end and then the other in a short few hours I'll make me some 2x spicy and enjoy the pain.

by Anonymous 19 hours ago

There's different flavors, which one don't you like?

by Anonymous 19 hours ago

I've tried 3 different flavours ( the only ones I could find in ireland) and none of them were nice

by Anonymous 18 hours ago

The chicken ones the closest tasting one to actual ramen your going to get. It's creamy and the soup base makes it so it has an authentic soup feel to it (it's the yellow pack) Bulwarks like a 6 out of 10 though for me

by Anonymous 18 hours ago

Sapporo ichiban is ok though, you should try those out

by Anonymous 18 hours ago

I'll give it one more go,just for you 😃

by Anonymous 17 hours ago

You have to add more stuff to it though also! A nice piece of grilled chicken or steak An egg Some vegetables also (Some hot sauce too , preferably an oil based sauce as it'll coat the noodles better)

by Anonymous 17 hours ago

Shred a Costco chicken and throw in some shredded chicken and an egg. Just tastes fantastic. Best part is you can freeze the rest of the shredded chicken and just heat it up in the cooking process each time you make ramen.

by Anonymous 16 hours ago

Its affordable and filling, maybe it tastes different in different countries? Though I will say its way too spicy, I usually remove the water, add cheese, spices, and half the packet of spice. Obviously, it's not as good as home-cooked noodles but its good for instant ones, I like to add egg, home spices, and cream with it too.

by Fancy-Inspection-466 16 hours ago

Yes, with my normal noodles I add egg, chilli oil and some veg if I'm feeling fancy 😋 maybe it just didn't travel well...I do feel like I'm missing out

by Anonymous 16 hours ago

Thank you! It's strange I've noticed they taste different also which no explanation as to why 🤷‍♀️

by Anonymous 16 hours ago

Really weird tbh?? Its not only them, but sometimes other foods in different countries even in the same brand they taste different and it annoys me because it ruins my comfort snacks😭

by Fancy-Inspection-466 15 hours ago

Oh my god yes 😭 this has happened to me too many times and it honestly hurts me a lil bit !

by Anonymous 15 hours ago

Right?! Even if they are produced in the same place sometimes they're still different....make it make sense 🥲

by Anonymous 14 hours ago

And they are too hot for most people, geez. Those that can stand it, I salute you

by Glittering-Bonus 14 hours ago

Yes, things related to Korea usually have that kind of tendency on the internet.

by batzdamion 14 hours ago

yeah, spicy food in general is. Those people should just shut up. They are not special for being able to eat spicy sh*t.

by Lornalind 14 hours ago

Honestly,I like spicy food but buldak just tastes like chemicals to me,its not a nice heat.

by Anonymous 14 hours ago

You too used to plain white bread

by Spirited_Presence767 13 hours ago

No, I just like quality food and spices... by the sounds of it you wouldn't know much about that

by Anonymous 13 hours ago

by Spirited_Presence767 13 hours ago

by Spirited_Presence767 12 hours ago
