They now have a partial skeleton, but not a skeleton. I guess if there's still meat on the bones, it could be considered so. But if we're talking bones alone, then it's not a skeleton, but a partial one. By this logic, only bones which are connected would still be a skeleton, therefore a skeleton would be just a couple bones and that doesn't sit right with me.

I can coach it. I grew up in a Christian household where feelings weren't encouraged other than happy. Blah blah blah. I explained it to a few family members and they understand this and believe it completely. It has helped them with self image as it has me.

I think we are on the same page. The physical body does not have the natural ability to be aware of the soul(self). It exists. The different religions do their best to explain a situation that can't be explained.

We don't know that for sure. The only evidence we have is that body remains here, we can't guarantee what happens to the soul (assuming you don't belief in religion and afterlife)
