And keep the chapulines out of my tres leches.

by Anonymous 3 days ago

Ya know.....I'd eat that. Sounds like a fascinating combination..

by Anonymous 3 days ago

Well, what about flan?

by Anonymous 3 days ago

Ceviche and chocolate mole for you, sir.

by PresentationLive 3 days ago

Honestly? I wouldn't expect a whole lot, but I'd try it

by Anonymous 3 days ago

But you have to think it's all Mexican dishes mixed together so for every tres leches or there are like 13 dishes that all go together enough to balance it out and make it barely noticable

by Tristinfunk 3 days ago

Desserts don't count. And Oaxacan food is a whole separate beast

by Professional_Idea201 3 days ago

how about flan and pozole

by Anonymous 3 days ago

Maybe not that but a savory flan could be good

by Anonymous 3 days ago

Flanchiladas?

by floy98 3 days ago

Can't find it as it was part of a meme video, but there was a thing I saw, a girl talking to someone who had said Mexican food was all the same. "No it's not!" 'What's a taco?' "It's meat and beans and a tortilla." 'What's a taquito?' "Meat and beans and a tortilla..." 'What's an enchilada?' "Meat and beans and a... shut up!"

by Altruistic_Kiwi 3 days ago

It wasn't a girl. It was Jim Gaffigan talking about being a server in a Mexican restaurant in his stand-up act.

by Prudence34 3 days ago

The one I'm talking about was one of those 'talking to myself' tiktoks. It's possible she took it from him, though.

by Altruistic_Kiwi 3 days ago

Most likely. I don't do tiktok, but I see some in other places.

by Altruistic_Kiwi 3 days ago

Oh, could be.

We have 9 ingredients, which of these 40 ways do you want them combined?

by NoticeCompetitive 3 days ago

If you mixed together every taco bell dish, it would still taste pretty good. FTFY

by Anonymous 3 days ago

I better be careful or the Eagans will hear about it, and I'll have to sit through /that/ quarterly review.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Well, between that and the calamitous SHARTBO.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Ya they obviously weren't thinking of mixing in some stank fish.

by santaklocko 2 days ago

That's exactly where my mind went

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Someone thinks all mexican food is from taco bell

by Anonymous 2 days ago

I read that as "All six Mexican dishes that my Gringo ass is aware of mixed together would still taste pretty good"

by Extreme-Bar5369 2 days ago

This really needs to be higher

by jongoldner 2 days ago

OP thinks they know every regional dish in one of the biggest countries in the world

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Relevant

by Tvonrueden 2 days ago

Tortilla with cheese, meat, and vegetables

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Not all mexican dishes are tacos and burritos

by noemie88 2 days ago

I can't imagine a caesar salad mixed with a burrito tasting good. Yes, caesar salad is from Mexico.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

I disagree with OP but also with you. I would absolutely try a Caesar Salad burrito, that sounds like it could be good

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Nah man. I love tres leches and mole, but I'd rather consume them separately.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Agreed^

by Civil_Mode6732 2 days ago

Something about this is absolutely Zen to me.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

I worked at a Mexican restaurant where we had a lunch buffet. All of the leftovers were layered between tortillas, covered with sauce and cheese, baked and served during the bar happy hour like a casserole. Guests loved it and would even ask for the recipe.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

I would say the same thing about Italian dishes.

by cordiesatterfie 2 days ago

I guess if you consider "mexican dishes" basically only what you can find on the taco bell menu.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

real mexican food is for people with character

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Real Mexican food is just food made in Mexico. Personal character doesn't come into it.

by No_Market3052 2 days ago

character is what it takes to handle it

by Anonymous 2 days ago

You spelled TUMS wrong

by Advanced-Cherry 2 days ago

had to google that one

by Anonymous 2 days ago

and why would that be?

by Anonymous 2 days ago

totally makes sense just like how compiling TV noises would basically produce an oscar winning film

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Just put it on a chip and eat it

by Next-Huckleberry 2 days ago

Because everything is the same 5 ingredients

by Anonymous 2 days ago

Tres leche plus pozole doesn't sound good at all.

by Anonymous 2 days ago

If someone served you a dish that was a blend of tacos, tamales, gorditas, chilaquiles, sopes, tostadas, mole, pibil, ceviche, taquitos, elote, pastor, birria, huaraches, tlayuda, nachos, would you really say no

by Professional_Idea201 2 days ago

Horchata and Menudo in one zip

by Minute-Contest-9157 2 days ago

Ceviche and guacamole?

by levieichmann 2 days ago

It would just be the same ingredients!

by margret01 2 days ago

Absolutely not. Mole is easily the worst dish ever created
