Butter don't go along with sandwiches and bread in general, amirite?

Bro, it's okay to not enjoy a condiment. There are millions of people out there every day using ketchup. There's no explanation for that.

Sounds like you just don't like butter cause I don't get any bitter tastes from butter

Nice warm fresh from the oven bread, or toast? Butter it up. But otherwise you're right. It tastes weird in a sandwich unless its like garlic herb butter meant to be used to bring flavour

I could understand this on regular bread, but on toast? Butter on any kind of warmed/toasted/grilled/etc. bread is divine.

I never tried on toast, I must admit.

Make sure it's still warm when you spread it so it melts in if you do try it, and eat it before it gets too cold

You've never had buttered toast?

Grilled sandwiches don't taste right without butter. Grilled cheese especially is amazing with butter on it. Otherwise it'd be sad and dry.

Isn't there something contradictory, here? Melting cheese brings moisture.

No. I mean have you never tried it? It's dry and much less flavorful. You need to at least use olive oil, cooking spray, or mayonnaise or the bread dries out. Butter is the best result.
