+40 Cosmetic plastic surgery means you lost, amirite?

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

fillers spotted 🫵🏼

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

I mean, I did it to replace the tits I lost to cancer, but go off king

by ewehner 2 weeks ago

lol that's not the cosmetic i'm yapping about dummy.

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

It is, how is it not? Doesn't serve any main purpose, just for looks.

by AromaticDance 2 weeks ago

Like you literally are a loser if you get any amount of cosmetic plastic surgery Did you forget what you'd written? Or maybe you didn't spent even 5 mins to word what you mean coherently instead of being angry about other people when you should mind your own life?

by AromaticDance 2 weeks ago

That what plastic surgery is, most plastic surgery involves a reconstruction

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

not the cosmetic i'm yapping about I listed my beef very plainly in the queens english

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

How about don't tell a cancer patient about themselves? Try that. Come back after a Dr cuts off part of your body and you require plastic surgery to fix the aftermath.

by Ukreiger 2 weeks ago

bro can't read and thinks filler is the same as a boob repair job.

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

"You're literally a loser if you get ANY AMOUNT of cosmetic plastic surgery" my tits are cosmetic

by ewehner 2 weeks ago

Lol so much aggression. Someone in OP's life got plastic surgery and he does not approve. Or wants it and can't afford it so they're lashing out to distract from the obvious.

by Possible-Beyond-5294 2 weeks ago

He's a roided out gym nut with a fugly face. Clear as day lol

by Henryturcotte 2 weeks ago

women can't say anything on here omf ahahah

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

Just another overly judgemental woman 🥱

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

How is women exercising their own free will playing into misogyny?

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

LA is the worst, do they all have instagram face lmfao.

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

Rage bait

by Nearby-Estimate 2 weeks ago

That's not cosmetic, though, that's functional. There's a practical purpose for it. Even for burn victims who want scar treatment, it's healthier for the skin to not be scarred like that and easier to clean, and if there's still pain, it can reduce the pain.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

If you don't need it to survive it's cosmetic surgery. Period.

by Delicious-Duty3486 2 weeks ago

Survival isn't the cutoff. At least, immediate survival isn't. The point at which there is no medical benefit is.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

people don't know what cosmetic means omfg, reconstruction is not the sameeeee

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

You can feel differently about it, but past a point of your organs being able to operate, fixing any cosmetic damage, IS a cosmetic surgery. You feeling differently about it doesn't mean anything

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

Exactly. Now the definition of cosmetic is different all of a sudden

by Delicious-Duty3486 2 weeks ago

Whooooo so angry! I get having an opinion but the level of vitriol here is personal lol.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

read it in a west coast monotone accent.

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

Being wrong seems to be something you do quite often.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

all his gfs have plastic which is not very girl boss of him

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

Hey OP, what about people who go to the gym because of insecurity too? Are those people also losers? What about the girls who spend an hour every day before school doing makeup and skincare routines so that they fit in with the popular girls? Are they losers for doing it?

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

If you read the last paragraph they address that. I'm not saying they're right or wrong but this isn't the gotcha you think it is.

by BarWonderful 2 weeks ago

health is not the same lmfao. If you go to the gym bcos you're insecure you're dumb, it's a tier list. Make up ya you're also a lewser for playing into misogyny. and it's the pipe line to plastic surgery. Skincare is just skin health so whatever. but if you're only doing it for others validation you're a looooossseerrrr.

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

it's monday broski

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

What time zone are you in? Cause I can assure you it is not close to Monday where I'm at lol. Based on the way you type you seem American, you even mention a west coast accent at one point. The west coast being only 2 hours apart from me (on time zone) puts it solidly in "Sunday"

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

It's monday night for meeeeeeee

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

Uhm no, it isn't. The latest possible time right now is Monday May 31st, a little bit before 9 am. Even if you were right, don't you think spending your evening doing this would be even more pathetic?

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

if it's not monday night why is it dark outside my flat?? don't lie to me internet stranger.

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

my calendar says monday and it's night soooo monday night 2+2=fish

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

So you are saying that putting any effort into the way you look makes you a loser? Let me know when you reach the real world and realise just how important appearances are

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

What about someone with a major facial injury or deformity? That's one case where it's clear that plastic surgery is necessary.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

does bro know what cosmetic means.

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

If you're in a car wreck that leaves you disfigured, fixing that disfigurement past a point of operability is still cosmetic The term "cosmetic" doesn't change cause you got unlucky

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

☝️

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

it's literally still reconstruction because something got damaged. Also i list specific cosmetics that i'm yapping about so ur reading comprehension It's grade 7

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

Yes. You can reconstruct something on a cosmetic level. That's a very obvious and clear concept.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

you're still fixing something that was damaged not the same at allllll

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

It's not the same in your opinion The mistake your making is thinking your opinion is relevant

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

If you want to retain the same level of function as before the accident, you have to restore it to as close to baseline as possible, so it's not cosmetic to go to that point. Anything past that is pointless. Even scar removal is functional and has medical benefit. If it has medical benefit, it isn't cosmetic.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

Okay plenty of plastic surgeries that are mostly cosmetic can/do have some latent medical benefits? Just to be clear: idgaf about cosmetic surgeries, get as many as you want

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

It depends on the impact of the disfigurement on your physical health. Repairing a birth defect provides missing function, repairing damage from an accident is repairing damage, wanting to be extra pretty is cosmetic.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

Okay do you have an issue with cosmetic surgery?

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

To be honest don't I think losing respect for someone over any cosmetic surgery means you have any sort of enlightened, or more intelligent perspective on it. All it means is you're a more judgmental person. Say your mother had wanted reconstructive surgery on her cancer breast, would that have made you lose respect for her?

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

If my mother wanted reconstructive surgery for cosmetic purposes I would get her checked for a brain tumor because it's very unlike her to be concerned about that kind of thing. But if she was secretly hiding insecurity all these years and that's how I found out, yeah, I'd lose serious respect for her. I don't automatically lose respect if someone has plastic surgery, only if I find out that it was purely cosmetic and wasn't even for comfort like breast reduction (though for that I would wonder if they really understood the risks for that). If it's like trauma recovery or something like that, that's better and a good reason if nothing else is working well. All surgery carries risks. If you're willing to take that risk just for appearances sake? Sad.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

Am I insecure? No. Would it be fun to become automatically hotter by throwing some money at a doctor to make me more symmetrical? Yeah, I'd be down. Also on the flip side, yeah sure some people are insecure and instead of letting it them alive they decide to do something about it since they have options, that's the complete opposite of loser mentality to me, that's quite literally winner mentality. And to the people who don't need it and do it anyways? Who cares? Seriously, why would it make you any level of angry to know what someone would do with their money?

by Kennethschinner 2 weeks ago

that's literally loser mentality, the inability to accept one's self is a failure imo. Anger stems from predatory beauty standards that force women to self harm in a different way.

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

You're placing entirely too much value on how much of someone's ‘self' is tied to their physical appearance for someone that supposedly hates when people alter their physical appearance. I'm going to go on a limb and say that you probably don't like trans people.

by Kennethschinner 2 weeks ago

technically it's more pick me to get fillers

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

people like me god bless. I haven't had beef irl with anyone in forever, i just get along w heauxs.

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

Are you mad that you keep getting rejected for the girls who do this? Because that's what it feels like. I don't necessarily disagree with you, just saying how you come off.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

read in a monotone accent. I don't hit on girls lol

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

It still reads like a hit piece about someone specific that you have a problem with.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

Still comes off as really vitriolic and angry.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

read it more monotone

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

People who have sudden weight loss have skin that can't keep up with rapid losing. Insurance won't pay for it, but they need skin reduction to avoid infections. Skin removal also helps with body mobility. Good reasons for plastic surgery.

by Current-Oil-4119 2 weeks ago

bro that's not the mf same can yall readddd. Surgery because something is damaged or will be damaged is not the same as fillers or bbls.

by OkWind8528 2 weeks ago

Not cosmetic, though, even if insurance stupidly says it is. If it has medical benefit, it should not be labeled cosmetic.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

100% agree, but insurance companies are assholes and definitely not your friend.

by Current-Oil-4119 2 weeks ago

American insurance is, anyway.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

True. The American system of medical care absolutely sucks.

by Current-Oil-4119 2 weeks ago

People get plastic surgery for many different reasons, sure most are just for aesthetics, some can be for quality of life related (breast reductions, nose job, scar revision, etc.) Also, as someone who's "gone under the knife" I (and many other people) don't care what you think, I didn't get plastic surgery to please others, I did it for myself. My procedure has absolutely changed my life for the better and I think your personal happiness is what matters the most.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

I'm transgender, so the reason for my surgery was gender dysphoria. Most people actually think my surgery was an abomination and actively tell me that, so if I truly cared with what people think I wouldn't have gotten the surgery

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

You genuinely could just mind your business

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

I agree with this so much . Everybody ages, just take the hand your dealt and work to be the best version of yourself you can be, not a fake/artificial version of yourself
