-28 There is no such thing as too much lettuce on a burger, amirite?

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

No such thing as too much is obviously silly. How about we get an entire lorry full of lettuce, shed it using industrial machinery, put it into an empty swimming pool or something and hide one burger somewhere in that massive pool of rapidly decomposing vegetable matter? Doesn't sound like the best lunch ever to me.

I see you've been watching the same videos as me

Lettuce on a burger is fine, but to say there is no such thing as too much lettuce on a burger is pretty dumb. You want a whole head of iceberg lettuce on a burger?

600 quintillion romaine hearts

by alessandro62 2 weeks ago

got em...he for sure would quit after the 599 quintillionth. everyone taps at that point.

I love lettuce, tomato and onion on my cheeseburger!

by Lynchorie 2 weeks ago

Any amount of lettuce on a burger is too much. I dont want crunch in my burger. Ill happily take a side salad to have veggies. But I just want meat, cheese, mustard, and a bun. Thats it

by Clean-Suit1640 2 weeks ago

No bacon or onions?

by Which-Juggernaut9271 2 weeks ago

Personally I never liked the bacon-beef flavor combo. I keep my bacon with breakfast and my beef with lunch or dinner.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

Waffle House unfollowed you

by One_Performer_2166 2 weeks ago

Agreed 100%. BLT is the only option where I dont want it in the morning, pretty much

by Clean-Suit1640 2 weeks ago

I don't mind crunch, but lettuce is just crunchy water (at least iceberg, which is the only thing I've ever had on a burger not made at my house). I didn't want to eat water, especially not on something cooked.

Lord, someone crazier than the North Korea person.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

I love a proportional amount of lettuce on a burger, but I would argue that there is definitely such a thing as too much on a burger.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

idk how yall just want to bite into mush. lettuce/onion give you another texture to contrast that.

by karli31 2 weeks ago

i would argue that onion is AT LEAST as important as lettuce. it contributes to the crunch and adds a sharp biting flavor that complements the savory beef/cheese flavors

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

Raw onion flavor literally makes me gag. It ruins everything it touches, and I mean ruins forever. Once it's been on something, that's all I can taste, even if I take it off.

Lettuce agree to disagree

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

Agree. It's like bacon on the burger -- can't have too much.

by EngineeringParty 2 weeks ago

Most burgers fail at the first step, the bun.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

2kg of lettuce is obviously too much. There is obviously an amount that's too much, where that lies differs from person to person.

by Fine-Albatross6259 2 weeks ago

that Slayrr guy has gone back to the salad bar 14 times now! The lettuce on his burger is 4ft high and climbing, do we say anything? It's an unlimited salad bar Steve, let the player play

by Howellkatrina 2 weeks ago

you do not have to change your opinion. you are wrong.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

I agree with everything but the title. No such thing as too much? When I have more lettuce by volume than my car, I think it will be too much. I am in for a good piece or 3 of lettuce though.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

How about a burger that is 99% lettuce?

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

yes. i am a lettuce lover.

by karli31 2 weeks ago

LETTUCE C

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

Kind of a soft unpopular opinion but you understood the assignment.

by Hunter66 2 weeks ago

Finally, an unpopular opinion i can agree with Whats peoples issue with free veg anyways?

by lawrence28 2 weeks ago

yes there is

by Slow-Jellyfish1774 2 weeks ago

What's your opinion of those who ditch the bun altogether and use the lettuce to wrap it instead?

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

More than zero lettuce is too much.

by Remarkable_Fig 2 weeks ago

To say there is no such thing as too much but to lead with as long as the order is right is a contradiction 🤦🏾‍♂️

by Genevieveblock 2 weeks ago

See, for me, on a cheeseburger, I actually want the lettuce to be wilty & warm. That's one of the best parts.

by MarsupialSad 2 weeks ago

There is no such thing as too little lettuce on a burger

by Relevant_Task8330 2 weeks ago

anything more than 1 leaf for texture is too much. i came for a burger not a salad

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

I miss the McDLT

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

Honestly lettuce goes so much better on those fake meat beyond burgers than on a beef burger.

by hirthecortney 2 weeks ago

Shredded lettuce yes but otherwise nah, rather extra cheese or something

by OkGarbage5923 2 weeks ago

You'd have liked Burger Chef in the '70s. All the lettuce, tomatoes, onions and condiments you wanted, even for the cheapest burger.

by Electrical_Bug_3600 2 weeks ago

Yes there is. Ew lettuce

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

I love salads but absolutely do not like lettuce on a sandwich. In restaurants, it is usually wilting and sogging. At home it is just too distracting from others ingredients.

by Ok_Glove_8092 2 weeks ago

Lettuce has no taste. I'm not sure if a crunchy burger is exactly desirable, but I feel like you'd get better freshness results out of onions and tomatoes, and peppers or spinach leafs will give you a better texture difference.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

but what if there's so much it just gets squeezed out like toothpaste?

by Stammzackary 2 weeks ago

Is there lettuce on the burger? Yes? That's too much lettuce. Just say no to useless filler and vegetarian nutjobs.

by Confident-Rate 2 weeks ago

Most American thing I've read in weeks

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

Right if I wanted all that extra junk I would order a salad instead

by bmedhurst 2 weeks ago

The only right amount of lettuce on a burger is no lettuce. There shouldn't be a crunch in a burger period, unless it's bacon but I wouldn't even call that crunchy.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

Some people like textural contrast when it comes to food, myself being one.

by Anonymous 2 weeks ago

Where do you live where lettuce on a burger isn't standard?
