Heroin is great..... The issues that come from using heroin are horrible... Oddly enough this example pretty much goes hand in hand with why there are people that think North Korea is a great place to live.

The greatest myth of communist societies is that everyone is equal. That could not be more wrong. High ranking bureaucrats and party officials are the aristocracy. Even in DPRK, the Kim regime offers certain privileges, such as housing in Pyongyang, to many who are closely tied to it. They have even indicated as such to the west, but edgy teenagers ignore the opportunity to explore this nuance and how the inverse of this admission is that there are still millions of others aren't so fortunate.

You're measuring greatness by a perceived lack of crime? Thats what makes a country the greatest in the world? Not how productive or influential they are, not how happy or long-living their citizens are? This supposed greatest nation on earth regularly threatens Japan, the United States, and others with nuclear destruction? The greatest nation on earth is a military dictatorship? I guarantee you corruption is rampant in the highest ranks of the North Korean government. I guarantee you the material conditions of the average North Korean (read: extremely poor) means theft and violence still exists. The idealized version of themselves that North Korea peddles to the world is just that, an idealization, a falsehood. The United States has plenty of issues, but at the bare minimum the individuals here enjoy at least the illusion of freedom and choice. It's hard to believe you're anything but a paid actor working to somehow normalize what is possibly a country that creates and maintains a level of suffering on par or approaching some of the most brutal regimes in human history. I would say "educate yourself," but you would likely fail to do so meaningfully.
